People come here to decide what to do tonight. Placement is sold per city, is always labelled, and is open to anyone. Every event on the board gets the same listing; what is for sale is a labelled spot beside them.

What is on the board today

Two labelled positions already render on every board, empty until sold: Presenting sponsor — one line above the board, one per city — and Featured spot — a card-width line in the feed after the first day and every third. A sold position shows your name and one line in the same frame. Nothing else on the board changes size.

Founding sponsors

Each city opens with a few founding sponsors: a set position, twelve months at the founding rate, and that city's real numbers shared before any money changes hands. These are the year-long, one-per-city positions and they are arranged by email — not the same thing as the month-to-month placements under Buy online further down, which anyone can buy for a single month without talking to us.

Three positions per city — presenting sponsor, section sponsor, standard placement — each labelled wherever it appears. Province-wide and tourism placements across every board are priced on request.

Promoting one event

Listing is free for every event, always. Featured pins one event to the top of its day on the board and in Highlights, with a labelled badge, for the dates you choose — and carries it in the Thursday email. It opens as self-serve once a city has the traffic to show for it. Until then, email us with the event and the dates.

These are month-to-month and self-serve: one placement, one month, cancel by not renewing. They carry no exclusivity and no guaranteed position — that is what the twelve-month founding positions above are, and why they cost what they do.
